In Beilowitz v. General Motors Corp., 233 F.Supp. 2d 631 (D.N.J. 2002) the founding lawyers of the firm obtained a preliminary injunction under the New Jersey Franchise Practices Act, which prevented General Motors from imposing a new national sales program on its largest parts distributor in New Jersey. The plan would have effectively eliminated forty percent of the distributor’s business. The preliminary injunction remained in place for close to two years until the case was favorably settled.
